Project Overview

Introduction

We were approached to work on a project for Activision, they were running lots of social media campaigns but were having issues tracking them.

 

They proposed a platform that allowed them to manage their campaigns at a detailed level and also report on the campaigns once they had finished.

 

Requirements

The platform needed the usual platform features for user accounts but then needed the ability to create campaigns. Once a campaign was created you would be able to add the influencers which are taking part.


The campaign would need some way of monitoring the content to calculate the performance of each influencer. Ideally we’d then need to displace this in a nice visual way so it can be digested.

 

Solution

We created a platform where campaigns could be created and influencers could be added. Once influencers were added to the campaign, an agreed posting time was selected. The platform had to run in the background and check the social media pages to detect when the post was live.


Once the post was detected it continually monitored the post and stored insights such as number of likes, comments, views etc. This was then summed across each influencer to give a view across the full campaign.
